Bernie Sanders is losing the primaries, not because he cannot produce a better logic, but because he uses the word socialism. It's almost like someone sticking the word criminal on his back. Too many voters are not going to associate with the word socialism.

It's not that they know what socialism means—there are infinite explanations for the meaning of socialism. It's a reaction. The purpose here is to describe that reaction.

Power is the quick fix for everything, at least for the persons who want a quick fix. Rational persons do not. Rationality does not need a quick fix. In fact, rationality doesn't exist where there is a quick fix.

Quick fix for what? For incompetence. Persons who want to get more out of life than their incompetence produces resort to mongering power as their method of getting there. Since mongered power is everywhere, it's awful easy to latch onto it and become a part of the scheme.

Latching onto power requires a hate for socialism. If they didn't hate socialism before, they do after latching onto mongered power.

The reason is because socialism is just one label among many for the opposing force that power mongers are up against. They are up against an opposing force, because mongering power is a destruction of life. Anyone who is not mongering power is a victim of mongered power.

Socialism by any description is one of the clearest attempts to assist the victims of mongered power. To assist the victims is to make the rewards of mongered power more difficult to achieve.

What then are those rewards? Obviously, ripping off the needy is one of the favorite pastimes of power mongers. But it gets more basic than that.

More basic is that rationality is the ultimate threat to all forms of corruption. Rationality is the method by which truth is produced, while truth is the only force corrupters cannot subdue.

Obviously, rationality is not a product of anti-corruption. Rationality comes first, and then the opposition to it becomes a necessity for corrupters.

Rationality upsets the structure of mongered power. Rational persons see mongered power for the corruption that it is and promote rationality as the constructive alternative.

Rationality also makes corrupters jealous of the fact that they cannot produce the real results of value that rationality produces. Corrupters must produce fake results, being incompetent. The fakery is supposed to be promoted by everyone as the answer to everything, while rationality exposes the fakery for what it is.

So rationality is attacked by power mongers as being some sort of detriment to society. Any negative label would do for degrading rationality. The favorite negative labels are in the area of assisting the needy.

After corrupters promote some fraud about three times, they have themselves convinced that it is a truism of the universe. So socialism must be a detriment to mankind, because power mongers keep saying that it is.
