Fantasy is demanded as a social standard by persons who don't have that problem. The social order is being disconnected from reality by fantasizers. Persons who lack sufficient abstract reality to be in contact with objective reality and find life to be a bliss prefer to fantasize reality, not just for themselves but for everyone. They impose their fantasies, because it's impossible for some persons to live in a fantasy world unless everyone does. It's like existing ten feet off the ground and assuming it is a superior state, because it disconnects from the realities which are problematic. Being disconnected from objective reality prevents problems from being solved. But solving problems feels like a bad thing to such persons, because it places demands upon them which they cannot meet. Removing the demands seems to be a superior state to such persons. This claim is not a hypothetical; it is a description of why a lot of problems exist—most visibly fantasy science and technology including greenhouse gases, renewable energy, electric vehicles and self-driving. Those absurdities are depended upon by fantasizers who do not maintain credibility in promoting such causes. Fantasy science and technology are beyond preposterous, but the fantasizers cannot be told, because they are exploiting the corruption. They exploit corruptions by separating from the resulting problems. There is nothing credible in saying renewable energy is on par with coal, while it increases the cost of electricity by a factor of five in California at 3-5% renewables and a factor of ten in Germany at 15% renewables. Even while Germany determined that it needed to construct coal plants to sustain its economy, the official claims are that renewable energy is on course to solve everyone's problems by building more windmills which tear down the economy. The pretense must be sustained while solutions are required in contradiction to the pretense. The fantasy state is not a responsible state of existence. Fantasizers do not reach a point where they find out they were wrong. Instead, they slide reality sideways as truth or objective reality proves them wrong. They can never be wrong, because they constantly adjust their fantasies to meet any demand. |
