Persons who lack abstract understanding and want to prevail anyway use power as the test of truth. They skip over the mental activity required in being responsible for their claims and plug in someone else's corruptions as if determined fact were produced.

The result is that power mongers convert their frauds into truth by running them through gullible persons.

The process is fraud. Truth is determined by objective reality. To look for it in subjective sources is a guaranty of being wrong.

The definition of truth is, the communicated representation of unified reality. Unified reality starts with the universe and laws of physics. False realities are in conflict with unified reality.

The universe is an objective source of reality. Objective means it originates outside of anyone's mind and is independent of arbitrary influences. However any effect becomes an objective reality which is tacked onto the source. Therefore, not all objective reality is unified reality.

Also, unified reality can be reconstructed in minds as knowledge. Minds are not an objective source, but they must be aligned on objective reality with an accurate representation of objective reality. Humans must attempt to determine what objective reality is and properly represent it.

That process does not exist when power is the source of truth. Power mongers do not use an evaluation process to determine what reality is. They contrive reality which promotes their power.

Only fraud promotes power, truth does not. Truth dissipates subjectively created power, since truth has origins beyond persons.

Truth is a source of objective power, being aligned upon the unified reality of the universe. Truth is the only force corrupters cannot subdue, since it has the universe behind it and is independent of who says so.

What it means is that the consequences are not trivial when the frauds of power mongers are promoted as truth. Promoting fraud which originates with someone else creates a barrier around the sources of fraud and protects them from accountability.

Creating a two step process to the promotion of fraud results in resilience that would not be possible if the source were directly accountable. Promoters who are not the source create a wall of impenetrability around the source.

Carbon dioxide and renewable energy show the effect in a highly visible way. The promoters are not only removed from the source, they are totally incompetent in the subject matter. They don't have the slightest ability to explain what they are talking about let alone respond to criticism.

Instead of the scientists correcting the promoters, they use the promoters to make claims which scientists cannot make. After promoters overwhelm the public with their absurd claims, fake scientists pretend to be verifying the result through fraudulent studies—a third level spin off.
