Constructive results require definitive standards. No alternatives will produce the same result. Yet incompetents assume their method of doing things is an optional standard.

Fake science and technology could not exist with proper standards for handling realities. A breakdown of social standards was required to put those corruptions on the public agenda.

One of the corruptions of standards is removal of knowledge from claims and assumptions. Knowledge only exists where standards are scrupulously followed. Elaborate correcting processes are needed to create knowledge. That means a lot of criticism in addition to a lot of looking. Otherwise, false assumptions become fake knowledge.

In place of knowledge is the recognized echo chamber, where like-minded views are sought instead of objective evidence—said to be common on social media. Less recognized is the professional version of selective reality construction, which brought us greenhouse gases, renewable energy and "carbon free" transportation. A lot of knowledge needs to be buried to promote those scams.

Many scientists and engineers have tried to correct the fake science and technology. They get steamrolled over, scandalized and often shoved out of their positions by know-nothings who wash the hands of everyone else with bottom level propaganda. Repeated endlessly, the fakery becomes the only social reality most persons have every known.

Incompetents assume they can wish reality into existence. They appear to succeed where there are exploitations to be developed, such as fake science and technology. Huge amounts of taxpayer and ratepayer dollars have flowed into the scam of global warming being fixed by renewable energy and carbon free transportation.

Respectable social standards would have prevented such scams from ever beginning. Instead, know-nothings claim they can look out the window and see global warming.

Incompetents pick a version of reality in line with their motives and assume they are going someplace with it without regard for objective reality. It shows a state where objective reality does not exist as a reference for constructivity.

There is a large part of society that now (July 2020) operates on the assumption that the Corona virus is going to do what the flu does and blow over with no relevant consequences. Four month of numbers show how wrong they are, but they can't be told. They can find anything they look for in the numbers.

There is a degree of ignorance which indicates that being wrong is an impossibility—the bliss of ignorance. Science tends to produce that result in persons who lack the standards needed to question their errors, because the complexities of science escape awareness quite easily.

Incompetent persons do not determine what truth is through a process; they look to like-minded persons to determine what truth is. Whatever creates a five second win is what truth is for them. At the professional level, the question is, what can we do with this. Of course, nothing can be done with the complexities of rationality. Linking to power and consensus is the only practical version of reality for incompetent exploiters.

The most critical information is always in what opponents have to say. Whether it is their errors or intelligence, it expands knowledge about them or the subjects which they promote. Incompetents close their minds to opponents, many of whom would correct their errors.

Lock-out reality control is how society got where it is at. Critics of fake science are said to be anti-science and purged from the media. Some critics are scandalized out of their careers. It's not how competent results or competitive economies are created.

People have a right to expect objective reality at the social level. Incompetents must blot out objective reality to conceal their incompetence and corruptness. So subjectivity is the hallmark of incompetent corrupters.

It should be socially unacceptable to spew subjectivity in the social domain, but it is becoming the new normal. Supposedly, subjective blather is a higher concern for the interests of like-minded persons. Getting enough out of life is not possible without subjectively promoting one's own interests in the new normal of assumptions that are replacing the objectivity of reality-based standards.
