Absence Of Text

There is a trend away from text, because text exposes incompetence and corruption. A lot of video is replacing text for news type of material. Only persons who have nothing else to do can take the time for video. So the trend cuts out persons who have the most ability to respond to the results.

But video is only the most recent manifestation of the evasiveness. Attempts to degrade email go back to the beginning of the internet. Spam had a purpose. It wasn't to make money; it was a scheme for degrading the use of email. All it took, twenty years too late, to end spam was to throw the most active perpetrator in jail. It could have been done twenty years earlier.

The fact that the protectors of the social order waited twenty years to end spam shows the motive. Power mongers were praying day and night for more spam.

Another manifestation of the subversion of email was in the methods of handling email. Fifteen years ago, it became necessary to locate small independents to handle email the way it should be handled. The majors would not set up their systems for combining mail boxes properly or moving through the complexities conveniently. So a few radicals had to do it for them. Since then, that problem has been slightly improved while adding more limitations to the process.

One of the major frauds now days is to lock email messages to the platform and provide no means of extracting it except copy and paste which is too cumbersome to use in a significant manner. For the first several years of email, email could be moved around on a computer and changed in format for combining with other text material. Now days, none of that is possible.

Why the restrictions on text and email? Because power mongers want a subdued public which cannot hold them accountable by reproducing and exposing their corrupt use of words. Incompetents cannot produce a coherent explanation without condemning themselves. So they try to obliterate the process of holding them accountable for their words.
