September 16, 2026 Supposedly, income almost keeps up with inflation, while expenses get impossible to meet and power mongers drain the economy of trillions of dollars. The fraud of it is that while the price of each item is referred to as inflation, the expanding number of things people need to pay for reduces their income to a shrinking state of inadequacy. ![]() College used to cost almost nothing for tuition at state universities. Now, no one can afford to borrow for college at 8% interest compounded annually. Home owners cannot pay more than 4.5% interest compounded annually, unless they are rich and borrowing for convenience purposes. When government loans began, Congress knew the kids could not pay interest; so the government paid the interest for low income students. Then conservatives said the banks were being robbed of business; so they had the banks loan the money at exorbitant interest rates. Healthcare used to be as simple as taking out insurance, which was often done by employers. No one had problems with healthcare expense. Now multidimensional problems have made healthcare a bankruptcy process. In 1950, a phone was something on a wall connected to a wire. Now it's paying about $50 a month for access with a cell phone often combined with a couple hundred dollars for numerous other computer related expense. People used to fill out their own tax forms. Now tax companies have to be paid for that. The government has a process for doing it for free; but again, conservatives don't want businesses to be robbed of income; so they won't let the government do the process for free. The number of essential items in a household has multiplied by factors of 20 or 30 since the 1950s, which is a horizontal increase in expense, not the vertical increase of inflation. When the fakes say income is almost increasing with inflation, they miss the other 90% of increase which is horizontal increase by a factor of about 30 times inflation. Fraud Is Needed To Monger Power
