Scientists used to teach evolution properly; now they describe the subject like a bunch of flunkies. It shows how science has deteriorated.

The first principle of evolution is that environments shape evolution, not nutritional needs, energy conservation or endogenous (internal) effects. That means changing environments need to be understood to evaluate evolution.

An example is the extinction event when the dinosaurs died out. For decades it was said to have occurred 65 million years ago. Now the time frame is said to be 66 mya. The difference is rounding error which should not have changed the time. But incompetents are constantly changing everything in their attempts to make themselves superior to everyone else. So both numbers appear on this web site.

The idiots claim mammals took off because of the dinosaurs dying out. Dinosaurs weren't influencing mammals in any direct way. There was too much size difference to be influencing each other by the time the extinction event occurred. It was grass that reshaped biology during the transition, but biologists don't have a clue what grass is.

It's necessary to study environments to evaluate evolution. But scientists study by looking through a straw (in part due to demands placed upon them) which makes environments invisible to them.

Grass began to form before dinosaurs died out, as indicated by one of the last dinosaurs to evolve, which was Anzu wyliei. It looked like a large chicken with long legs, which means it was walking through grass.

Grass then wiped out the nonwoody brush that was holding back all evolution. That's because grass evolved all of the right characteristic to prevail against the brush that was holding it back. The long, thin leaves of grass allow dew drops to run down to the base, where water can be absorbed. Grass absorbs water at ground level, where other plants cannot. Then the fine textured roots of grass form a matt which inhibited growth of the earlier, crude plants. But grass promoted the evolution of all modern species, because it left space for dissimilar plants such as broadleaf trees as well as animals of all types. Flowering plants took off due to a lot of environmental variations allowed by grass.

Cyanobacteria evolved the critical characteristics of plant physiology. They used to be called blue-green algae and should still be, because their critical characteristics are in physiology, not cell structure. They evolved photosynthesis and the demanding structure for energy transitions in both plants and animals, which is the porphyrin ring.

Cyanobacteria changed little over the past billion years, because their environment has been quite stable consisting of "polluted water." What is considered to be pollution now days was the gold of nutrition a billion years ago. Minerals were then and still are the critical nutrients for cyanobacteria. The necessary minerals accumulated where water was stagnant, while oceans were depleted of critical minerals due to precipitation which was enhanced by massive amounts of calcium which has low solubility in water.

Minerals were the critical factor that created "the Cambrian explosion of life" 543 mya. Restoring the critical minerals, both in the oceans and on land, could not have occurred through any other process than a planet exploding where the asteroid belt exists.

Scientists have known for centuries that the asteroid belt was created by a planet exploding. But recent scientists, in their quest to turn all science into exploitable fraud, decided that there was no planet that exploded and the asteroid belt was caused by the gravity of Jupiter. Weak gravity supposedly lines up rocks millions of miles away to orbit some other source of gravity. The preposterous characteristics of recent frauds involves a the lack of concern for credibility, as frauds are imposed with no criticism being allowed. Know-nothing fact checkers eliminate criticism which they now call conspiracy theorizing.

Trying to get all of that complex evolution into a series string of events used to be a daunting task, when Mendelian inheritance passing characteristics from parents to offspring was assumed to be the requirement. But during the 1990s, horizontal gene transfer was discovered due to GMO genes being carried to dissimilar species (weeds) by microbes including viruses, bacteria and fungi. Horizontal gene transfer resolves a lot of questions on how similar genes can exist between dissimilar species.
