Corrupters are control freaks, because they acquire an impossible task that needs to be imposed, which is prevailing through domination. The more corrupt they are, the more impossible the task. When no defiance is allowed, terrorism is the method.

In other words, less corrupt persons get more willing cooperation with their impositions. A little give-and-take is assumed to be a necessary price to pay for getting things done. But the lower dregs of corruption do not get willing cooperation; so they impose in the most absolute manner possible through brutality and intimidation.

Even terrorists try to convince and cajole; but they only succeed in relating to similarly corrupt persons. So they lash out at the rest of the world in every way possible.

If less corrupt persons failed to get cooperation, they would be more like terrorists. Usually the degree of cooperation that corrupters get has little to do with their ability to convince and more due to the exploitability of conditions. As conditions deteriorate, corrupters become more like terrorists.

Therefore, corrupters have a mentality that says others need to be less resistant, and all will go fine. Going fine by that criteria is a constantly deteriorating condition.

No matter how deteriorated the conditions, all corrupters including terrorists keep pretending that all is normal beyond the need to impose submission onto uncooperative persons. The pretenses of terrorists are obviously obnoxious; but pretense is built into all corruption, while only the degree varies. Pretense is always required to frame destructivity as normal, acceptable, functional and getting somewhere.

The pretense of fake science and technology being normal and the solution to problems is obnoxious to real scientists and engineers. Yet those corruptions are imposed onto everyone and accepted by most persons as an alternative to being destroyed by carbon dioxide. The degree of deterioration is the only difference from terrorism.
