The Criminality Of Economic Sanctions

March 13, 2022

Economic sanctions are the second worst crime a country can produce next to torture, because sanctions affect everyone in the victim's country and strips them of the right to determine their own lives or solve their problems through economic activity. Thievery is less destructive, because it has boundaries. Economic sanctions are limitless.

One of the main factors that determine the corruptness of crime is the imposition of the criminal's values upon other persons. Economic sanctions impose the worst values upon everyone including everyone associated with the criminals. To not disconnect from such criminal behavior makes a person a part of the crime and promoter of the destructive purposes.

The worst of war crimes are those that do the most harm to the most innocent persons. Economic sanctions are the worst of war crimes for that reason.

But economic sanctions are seldom a part of war. They are used now days to reshape purposes and values. Venezuela is the most obvious example. Venezuelans had their economy destroyed, because corrupters in the U.S. didn't like the values of Hugo Chavez who has been dead for several years but still elicits the wrath of losers in the U.S. who couldn't stand up to the truth that he produced about their corruptness.

Along with the hate for Hugo Chavez was the secondary result of doing wonders for the price of fracking oil which always was too expensive to produce economically. Destroying the oil production of Venezuela destroyed the economy of Venezuela and later resulted in a global energy shortage.

The logic of sanctions on Venezuela drifted into their election process claiming an imposter selected from outside the country was supposed take over the government. Determining who is supposed to be running someone else's government is one of the worst of international crimes, not just in destroying someone else's country but in enhancing the power of criminal behavior in the imposing countries.

As always, the destructivity of criminality is greater with the perpetrators than with the victims. The criminality within the U.S., starting with fraudulent science long ago, is destroying the U.S. on a global scale. It is making the U.S. weak and ineffective in global competitiveness while destroying the respectability that is needed for cooperative interactions.

Biden takes some meek action along such lines, having no ability to change the values and directions of a fascist country rapidly moving toward Nazism; and then the follow-up is extreme action replacing Biden's weak action. An example is Biden saying a limited invasion of Ukraine by Russia would produce a limited response by the U.S. and then a blow-up response from the fascists saying the U.S. produces a total response, always. Biden was not going to be the determining influence.

Trump ravaged the values, purposes and interactions of the U.S. government on a massive scale including stripping the U.S. bureaucracies of experienced staff and the numbers needed to get their work done. The purpose was to incapacitate a government which fascists despise.

There is no way to undo much of the damage Trump did. Shallow-minded critics keep trying to get Biden to solve the problems. Presidents can create problems but not easily solve them. That's because it is vastly easier to destroy complexities than to fix them later. Broken glass isn't put back together. The more complex society gets, the more it becomes broken glass in the results of destroyers such as Trump.

Actually, Trump did nothing; he was too stupid to do anything but tweet. His result was the conservatives finding an outlet for the schemes they designed long ago but could not institute under normal conditions. Trump removed the obstacles to the conservative agenda allowing any destructive purpose to be promoted.

It was Reaganism that defined the purpose of the fascists, when Reagan said government is the problem; but it took decades to get the "eighty years of liberalism gone awry" out of the way of the fascist scheme. The result put Trump in power, while Trump had no ability to influence anything due to his stupidity. But stupidity does not prevent a destroyer from destroying. Trump is now using Hitler's template speech in saying opponents produced some disaster which only he can fix—fix by putting an end to human rationality. The supposed disaster was Democrats destroying the election process preventing Trump from getting elected.
