Disconnect From Reality

September 24, 2020

Nihilism is a deliberate disconnect from reality. Nothing constructive can be accomplished disconnected from reality. So why disconnect from reality?

The why of all corruption is first and foremost because a lot of other like-minded persons are doing so. There is the power of the group and psychological security.

Since all corruption depends upon group power, the Bible uses the terms conspiracy and sin as synonyms. There is no sin without conspiracy and no conspiracy without sin. (Even personalized sin is dependent upon a lot of other persons doing the same thing and often promoting it.)

So the question is, why does a group disconnect from reality. It's withdrawing from a situation which they lose at. Incompetent corrupters cannot be winners where reality imposes upon them, so they try to change the nature of the situation. They look for a method of winning which allows them to disconnect from reality.

To be winners disconnected form reality requires corruption to define winning. Incompetent corrupters win at destructive things.

It takes a false test to say destructivity is winning. There is however a reward in power, when a group is behind the process. The power of the group creates the reward for destructivity, simply because a large group of persons have the same motives.

In summary, the group that is disconnected from reality uses destructivity as the test for winning and gains power as the reward due to the agreement of the group.

Now consider the social consequences of that result. The more rationality is demanded as the answer to problems, the more opposing force the disconnected group creates.

How do such persons expect to solve their problems while opposing rationality as the solution to problems? They assume winning should solve their problems, even while winning means being destructive. Isn't that assumption self-contradictory? It sure is.

Corrupt persons acquire contradictory assumptions through psychological conditioning. What it means is that they repeat a pattern over and over until it gets engrained and not evaluated. The reaction then imposes itself upon analyses in a subconscious manner without much awareness. The imposed result becomes a substitute for rational evaluation.

One of the consequences is the assumption that destroying enemies will solve problems for such persons. Enemies are not only the persons who impose the hated rationality onto them but anyone who is not supportive of the group. Since corrupters are in conflict with the universe, anyone who does not align with them is at least accidentally in conflict with them.

An example is the assumption that a necessary "economic stimulus" should not go to state and local governments which are controlled by liberals/Democrats, which means most of the large entities, which also means none of them as a principle. The economy cannot be improved while bankrupting state and local governments, but no price is too high to pay when attacking enemies.

The rationalization is that liberal/Democrats created some problem, so they should not get rewarded for their corruption. As a rationalization, it misses the main points and focusses on the wrong things. When a pandemic is destroying the economy is not the right time or method to be fixing liberal/Democrats. Fixing such a monumental problem requires more of a rational analysis, but there is no analysis—just destroy the enemy as the solution to a problem. That's nihilism as the solution to problems.

Of course, pretending that some problem is being solved is total fakery. The purpose is obviously to destroy opponents in the attempt to homogenize the political landscape and erase opposition to that which is not normally tolerated.
