Determining Worthiness

Incompetent persons take over the social structures by mongering power. False worth is contrived as power in place of rationality. A disconnect from reality causes incompetent persons to contrive worthiness which is disconnected from reality.

Worthiness is not what humans should be concerned about. Capabilities are relevant, but capabilities are specifically evaluated, while worthiness is generalized.

The reason for the concern over worthiness is to establish relative positions through a power structure. Why are such positions relevant? To determine who controls who.

Corrupt persons are control freaks. They want to know who controls who. They more or less decide that for themselves, but there are indicators which they don't want to get wrong. Getting it wrong could backfire. They might try to degrade the wrong person. They have to make sure other persons go along with the result.

So there are methods of measurement of worth. Basically, worth is determined by how far a person has gone in climbing the power structure.

One of the main concerns over worth is to determine whose verbiage is reliable and quotable. A person can never be blamed for attributing something to someone else who has a high enough position in the power structure.

This isn't how you determine whether carbon dioxide is killing the kids and pets. But it is the method being used. Journalists and organizations determine what science gets promoted and what gets suppressed. They are totally incapable of responding to criticism of their claims. It means claims are not based on realities but a test of worthiness.

In other words, the method of determining worthiness is a method of disconnecting from reality. How could it be otherwise. It's like bowling to learn how to fly an airplane. It's two different things. Structuring power is not a study of the abstract basics of knowledge.

Then, it's a compounding and purifying process. Those who are disconnected from reality acquire problems from their conflicts with reality. They need to associate with other like-minded persons who have that problem rather than rational persons who place demands upon their rationality.

So acquiring worthiness is acquiring incompetence which leads to a war against rationality.
