Politics is essentially methodology. It means, policy is a description of how results are to be achieved—the promotion of methods. For conservatives, methodologies do not exist, just claims and values. Conservatives have no method of getting to their claimed results. Accusing opponents is how conservatives get elected. Who solves the problems, when conservatives have no capabilities beyond accusing opponents? Journalists failed the public by not noticing the importance of methodology in politics. Without methodology, the empty claims of conservatives are no different than real results. Nothing can be done without a method of doing it. The methodologies are highly visible. When they can't be seen, it means there is conspiring in the dark. Politics is supposed to be about methodologies. Everyone approximately has the same goals—doing good on every question and solving all problems. The differences are in how to get to the goals. That's methodology—how to get to goals. But methodologies are too complex for incompetent corrupters such as conservatives, so they operate by whim. Without methodologies and nothing but whim, the result is totalitarian dictatorships. Whim is no substitute for complex procedures. It means totalitarian dictators cannot handle complexities. They get support from other corrupters who can't handle complexities, and they expect to get what they want through ultra simplified procedures, which is reductionism. They never succeed. For these reasons, incompetent corrupters need to be held accountable for the methodologies. Journalists are not doing that. It makes corrupters look normal. Without methods of getting there, claims are meaningless. There is no difference between good or bad, success or failure, without methodologies being described. So the absence of explained methodologies allows corrupters to make any claims with no method of determining the truth about the claims. The absurdities might be visible, but corrupters don't care. There is nothing but truth that corrupters cannot defy. Without the truth about them, they are invincible. Without a description of methodologies, there is no truth. In that manner, journalists are allowing incompetent corrupters to invincibly lie to the public due to no truth about methodologies being visible.
