The result always follows the purpose. The purpose is extremely easy to determine. Therefore, corrupters aren't kidding anyone with their frauds.

No matter how much rationalizing they do, the purpose is the only thing that matters, and it cannot be concealed. In fact, the rationalizing says there is a purpose being misrepresented, while rationalizing doesn't look anything like rationality.

One of the tell-tail characteristics of rationalizing is that it doesn't explain anything. It omits cause-and-effect relationships which determine actual results. Rationalizing is a bunch of positive or negative statements expressing values with nothing for explanations which show what results actually are.

One of the most relevant places where the purpose is so corrupt that it has to be rationalized with fraud is the war against the lower classes which all corrupters produce. The war against the lower classes is the most developed concern of conservatives. They produce fake excuses aligned upon character development where real-life concerns are needed, such as harping about a dependency or entitlement being created because of assistance to the needy.

Dependency could mean anything. So frauds never explain their claims and pretend that it means character problems for the lower classes, which is a total fraud.
