Shallow power mongering is not recognized as power mongering, but it is the same destruction of social structures and ruination of man as hard-core power mongering. In fact, more so, because the shallow power mongering is pervasive and unrecognized, while hard core power mongering is easy to see and oppose.

Shallow power mongering is pervasive; and it blends seamlessly into hard core power mongering. Mostly what is visible for social reality is the shape of reality that journalists create; and it is where shallow power mongering gets relevant.

What is become apparent is that it is not the politicians who shape the social order; it is the journalists. They redesigned the political atmosphere through shallow power mongering. They put Trump in power doing so. Now they are taking down Biden doing so.

In terms of the result, Trump did nothing to elect himself. The journalists elected Trump by putting no other politician in the news significantly but Trump. This was apparent in the republican primaries, where Trump's competitors dropped out for no apparent reason. They should have beat Trump many times over. But they lacked an essential ingredient: They didn't exist as far as the media was concerned. A politician cannot get elected while being ignored by the media. The media hung on every word of Trumps, while Trump produced nothing but infantile Nazism for campaign rhetoric.

How that happens is shallow power mongering. It links to hard-core power mongering, even though the connections are not highly visible. It's why the media was locked onto Trump, while superficially, the concerns were opposites. The basic processes were the same, while the outward appearances were opposites.

The basic process of shallow power mongering is the same as the basic process of hard-core power mongering but less apparent—stomp under the powerless and build up the powerful. Trump was built up as a figurehead of power. The other candidates where stomped under as losers.

That process is more or less subconscious, as all corruption is. That means the perpetrators don't know they are doing that. They were drawn to Trump as a power figure while opposing his realities. The power won over the realities due to power mongering—shallow and hard-core.

The shallow power mongering in the media is visible about half way between the extremes. It is becoming much more visible as fascism gains power and creates more linkages to power. The fascism in journalism is becoming more apparent though generally unrecognized as such.

What this means—what it looks like—is values aligning upon the causes of the fascists. Examples include the underlying assumption that social programs are waste-and-spend. —that Biden was a loser for pulling out of Afghanistan instead of leaving residual troops, as the previous three administrations did. —or that Biden should have required the military to fight their way out of Afghanistan instead of exiting as fast as possible. In other words, the journalists had it all figured out while not knowing what they were talking about.

The shallow power mongers are buying into and promoting the fascist purpose of opposing social programs as being expensive boondoggles instead of necessary corrections. If the money were the problem, why was twice as much destroyed by corporations for no benefit during Trump years? Proper representation would be including that process into the perspective of what government can afford, but the promoters of the fascist cause oppose only the correcting and not the wasting.

Promoters of corruption are drawn to values of power without realizing they are ignoring and opposing the corrections. They don't see the problem. They don't see the harm they are doing in cutting half of society out of the economy. They assume building up power is the answer and stomping under the powerless is irrelevant.

The purpose of generating power is a force. It takes force to put incompetent corrupters in power. That force needs to be encased in fake reality. The fake reality is a dead give-away for the process.

Fake science and technology are absurdities imposed upon society for that purpose. They are a pretense of solving everyone's problems, which means incompetent corrupters being infallible and unquestionable. No criticism is allowed, because incompetent corrupters are defeated by truth, while truth evolves through all interactions of realities.

There are no interactions of realities allowed on global warming, renewable energy or electric vehicles. Real scientists and engineers produced some criticism and explanations several years ago, but they were shoved aside and ignored, while the fakes got more dogmatic in trying to impose increasingly destructive results onto society.
