The big lie is destroying our democracy, our system of government and our social fabric. It's dismantling the energy systems and replacing them with expensive, environment destroying fool's gold for energy sources. All to remove carbon dioxide from the air.

Of course, that's not what is meant by the big lie which dominates the news. It's Trump's lying about winning the election and claiming it was stolen from him.

Only 60% of the republicans believe Trump won the election. Supposedly, 97% of the scientists believe carbon dioxide is destroying the planet. To understand one, it's necessary to understand both.

Where did society get the notion that carbon dioxide is destroying the planet, when the science is too obscure for most scientists, let alone the public? They got it from the journalists. Not Fox News; from the New York Times, Washington Post and the rest of the mainstream media.

Where did the main stream media get the notion that carbon dioxide is destroying the planet? They picked the winners, sort of like a Hollywood celebrity game. The journalists proclaim the science and convince the public, and only then do fake scientists produce the fake studies that show the result.

Republicans got their notion that Trump won the election and Democrats stole it from him by limiting their sources of information to like-minded journalists who told them what they wanted to hear. If 99% of society did the same thing with carbon dioxide, it shouldn't be too surprising that Republicans did that with Trumpism.
