The U.S. as a country shows a lot of diversity in the geography, complexity and differences from one seacoast to the other. That diversity is largely what makes the U.S. the power source that it is.

Diversity is important in generating truth and constructivity, because objective reality is promoted when diverse realities interact. Subjectivity is unique, while objective reality is the same for everyone.

Truth and justice only exist when they are the same under all circumstances. Diversity determines whether they are. Diversity also improves the result by creating interactions of realities where only the uniformity of objective reality prevails.

This is why it is a good thing that there are a large number of variations of Christianity, even though there is only one truth. The variations can be social and quasi political while still aligned upon the one truth. Of course, a lot of forces misalign realities in the variations. It means variations in structure and forces are needed even though there will also be nonconstructive variations.

This result shows up whenever Christianity is under attack or being subverted. There will always be a form of Christianity that can stand up for the truth, has nothing to gain from the corruption and has enough independence to oppose the corruption. In other words, no one can attack they whole works when there is so much diversity.

In politics the need for diversity is obvious in making sure that all interests and realities are brought into the controversies. The superficialities of politics say nothing of underlying basics. That's a good thing in a democracy, where politicians are supposed to represent rather than impose.

Of course, a lot of forces in politics are not so benevolent in trying to impose a set of values and purposes onto society. Again, the benefits of the diversity are mixed with corruptions within the diversity.

The necessity of diversity outweighs the corruption that finds leverage in opposing realities. It's easy enough to expose the corruptions while using diversity to expand and strengthen the objectivity and universality of truth, justice and constructivity. The diversity provides the evidence for the universality. Social diversity also creates the need for the real truth, justice and constructivity that only exists under all circumstances.

Diversity removes corruption as special interests and subjective impositions, because the resulting conflicts become more evident with increased diversity of interests. In other words, extremely homogeneous concerns acquire exploitive corruptions that are not tested and corrected.

To some extent, the high degree of diversity in the U.S. was producing such a result. It was straightening out a lot of realities and processes removing unnecessary and conflicting extensions on developed realities and the broader social structures. While a lot of problems and injustices did not get corrected, particularly racial injustices, there was a large, sweeping set of realities generated in the U.S. that could not be replicated anyplace else due to the limited scope including diversity.

Europeans could not do anything similar. They largely mimicked the U.S. without charting their own course, because they did not have the scale to work with. Scale was largely determined by the degree of diversity more than the amount of money spent.

Fifty highly diverse states were critical to the scale of development that was possible in the U.S. For every error, problem or corruption there was an interest somewhere doing a correction. Other large countries could not do anything similar due to their lack of diversity.

The value of diversity is one of the reasons why liberals are determined to include more persons of varied races into social process. The diversity is extremely constructive.
