Conservatives don't have a clue what low class existence is. They often talk about a welfare system. There has never been a welfare system. The closest thing to it was Aid to Families With Dependent Children which was ended during the 1990s.

One of the conservative harangs has been to impose coerced working onto the lower classes. No one who can work has been avoiding work. Conservatives assume a bunch of low class persons sit around and do nothing. There never has been or will be such persons. What do they live on? If they existed, how is destroying social programs going to put them to work? The implication is that such persons are living off the government. There is no government program that does that.

Supposedly, everyone in the lower classes makes choices that can be influenced by conservative policies. There is no such thing. Homeless persons never choose to be homeless. Unemployed persons have forces acting upon them which prevent them from working. No exceptions.

Putting someone to work without an increase in opportunities is never a choice to be made. Not knowing that is being from Mars. Persons that stupid have no business running the government.

One reason why homelessness exists is because no one who has been unemployed for about a month is allowed to work. There is an employment rule applied to the lower classes that says a person must have been recently working to be employable. For whatever reason a low class person has not been recently working is the reason why they never will again have a job—that is, unless they always were in the privileged class and had some explainable reason for being out of work, such as women who can get daycare for their kids and go to work.

Conservatives probably do not know that most women cannot get daycare for their kids due to the high cost or total unavailability. When conservatives ended aid to children in 1997 they expected single women with children to get jobs. If conservatives were trying to solve problems instead of create them, they could have provided daycare for the kids. Instead, they ripped eighty billion dollars out of the lower classes in 1997 by ending aid to children and replaced it with nothing.

That means the conservatives' purpose of coercing someone into working with no improvement in opportunities is never going to put a single person to work. None of the conservative schemes are designed to change the dynamics of oppressed persons being oppressed. To the contrary, conservatives assume that creating more problems for the lower classes is going to produce some magical improvements.

The stupidity of conservatives is based upon an erroneous assumption/ethic that tells them that if you get a person by the ears their heart will come with them. They interpret that assumed truism to mean you have to create more problems for vulnerable persons to get more out of them. So the purpose of conservatives is to create more problems for the lower classes instead of fewer.
