Corruption accomplishes nothing. So it depends upon group power as a method of prevailing. The power of numbers is the primary source of social power for corrupters. Keeping a group aligned upon the purposes of corrupters is the essence of conspiracy.

When corruption is being promoted, no dissent can be allowed. Corruption is a conflict with objective reality. Nothing can really be done in conflict with objective reality. So the pretense of doing something in conflict with objective reality means eliminating all obstacles. Since all obstacles cannot be eliminated, the evidence of the attempt not working is never produced.

In other words, conspirators are on a perpetual quest to eliminate all opposition as the supposed ticket to success. No one has ever succeeded, but conspirators don't know that. They assume that all that exists was produced by corrupters conspiring, while their own problems are limited and temporary.

A relationship to objective reality does not require a conspiracy. Each person, action and result can be independent when relating to objective reality. Working together is an enhancement for various reasons but not an attempt to succeed at corruption as conflict with objective reality.

Therefore, conspiring is a replacement for competence. Instead of a constructive method of doing something, the use of group power is supposed to produce results. The evidence otherwise is never produced, because no conspirators have ever reached the hypothetical end point of solving their problems through group power.

Eliminating all opposition is the all-absorbing preoccupation of incompetent corrupters conspiring to solve their problems through the power of groups. They assume that constructive and rational persons are idiots making things up.

Conspiracies shift concerns away from the how-to to the attitudes. How-to is rudimentary and reductionistic for corrupters, so it requires no concerns. But opposition is endless, so it is the focus.

The focus on opposition is an attitude war. Eliminating opposition means changing attitudes from opposition to support.

Trump showed how it works in an extreme way. He had no other concern than getting the persons around him to support his power. There were no realities to the process. Government was nothing but his power prevailing. He was constantly trying to drum up support by praising insiders and degrading opponents.

Life to corrupters is exactly like Trump's method. They are constantly building up insiders and degrading opponents trying to increase the power of corrupters through consensus. How could Trump being doing anything other than that when there is nothing else he has ever done?
