Know-nothings in journalism and organizations imposed fraudulent science and technology onto society destroying energy and transportation systems and allowed no criticism of their claims. Where were the editors?

Only after propagandists in journalism convince the public of something in science do incompetent frauds in science repeat the same thing to justify the claims. Not until the public is convinced do frauds in science dare make their absurd statements such as attributing every weather event to carbon dioxide.

Real scientists used to say the drought in California is not caused by carbon dioxide but a high pressure air mass parked off the coast which carbon dioxide has no ability to influence. But they were shoved aside by know-nothing journalists; and then fakes in science picked up the same claims.

Like all social structures, journalism has been crumbling under the weight of incompetent power mongers pushing their way into exploitable social structures and converting them into power structures for personal gain at everyone else's expense.

Journalism is the primary source of information for the public now days. Most persons have no method of correcting false realities from journalists as shown by the absurdities some persons promote based on the claims they are fed by their sources of information.

Journalism was instrumental in holding corruption in check until the march to fascism began changing the social purposes with Reaganism in 1981. Reagan conservatives had the purpose of creating "a new normal." If objective realities based on the laws of the universe are not the defining origins of normal, corruption becomes the new normal.

Corruption often prevailed in the past, but not as a philosophical purpose. Corruption does not stand up to truth when openly promoted.

That isn't to say the Reaganites openly promoted their corrupt purposes; it only says that their foundational purpose was to change the essence of social standards by undermining the foundations of social existence. Corruption was promoted as being socially superior to constructivity based on rationality.

Reagan broke every law in the book to get elected and then to fight a war against Nicaragua in spite of Congress passing a law forbidding him to do so called "The Boland Amendment." Reagan's law breaking makes Trump look like the incompetent amateur than he is in promoting his corruptions.

Reagan went, as a private citizen, to the Iranians to convince them not to release U.S. hostages until after the election to make Carter look like an incompetent. He used weapons for hostages as his bargaining chip.

Such corrupt purposes may have been common in the past, but not with the social complexities that now exist including a scientific basis for objective realities. What changed in 1981 was the march to fascism. It changed, not because Reagan conservatives were more brilliant than corrupters usually are, but because the social state of exploitable power became more vulnerable to incompetent power mongers hijacking the social purposes.

In other words, new sources of power became exploitable with modern complexities resulting from increased technology. It was the increased technology that allowed Nazism to take over Germany. The Nazis of Germany tried to exploit the technological power of the transition from horse-drawn transportation to wheeled transportation. The Nazis assumed they could create an undefeatable war machine out of the new concepts of wheeled transportation. The error that defeated them is that they could not prevail with an air force, while they got bombed into smithereens.

The march to fascism that the Reaganites started had to be much more covert than the original Nazism. Speaking in opposites while using positive terms for corruption is how covert tactics are applied. Getting the government off their backs was supposedly the virtue of Reaganism. Throwing out necessary laws as so-called deregulation was supposedly a good thing.

Reagan said, the last thing anyone wants to hear is, I'm from the government and I'm here to help you. There never has been any such thing. The government went after the bootleggers not to help them. The IRS never comes to the door or says they are here to help anyone. In other words, Reagan's fake statement had the purpose of degrading social purposes of government including social security as if such purposes were so corrupt that no one really wanted them to exist.

Reagan also said, if you need to explain, you are already a loser. That means Reagan assumed everyone is trying to be a winner, and the method of producing rationality by explaining claims is the ruination of man. Mongering power is the alternative to rationality that corrupters promote.

The point is that Reaganism overwhelmed the social order by promoting the purposes of mongering power to replace rationality, because rationality exposes incompetent corrupters for the corrupters that they are.

It took forty years for the Reagan philosophy to create the fascism that put Trump in power. Trump was put in power by the journalists. Journalists focussed on Trump repeating his every word while ignoring his opponents. The other candidates dropped out, because they didn't have a campaign while being ignored by the journalists.

Trump is sure to become the next president, if nothing changes, because the journalists stay locked onto every word of his while ignoring criticism by his opponents. On top of that, conservatives are making sure they never lose another election by redesigning election procedures.
