March 15, 2024 All constructivity evolves based on improvements, which includes knowledge. Artificial intelligence does not determine improvements and does not evolve. When humans make choices, they decide what they prefer. Over time, the most suitable choices produce more prevalent results. If something negative enters, it gets discarded resulting in a continuous improvement. That means everything humans do gets gradually aligned upon improvements through the process of evolution. Improvements can be defined both objectively and subjectively through the process of evolution. What if humans prefer something that is not good for them? Notice the tautology of "prefer" equaling "not good for them." If there is some method of determining "good for them," that criterion will overwhelm the bad choices. If humans make choice which are totally subjective with no measure of good or bad, evolution will be forward in aligning upon what humans prefer. The net result will be aligned upon human preferences. What says subjective choices are good? First, brains evolved to produce positive and negative reinforcements, which means a lot of subjectivity is not as subjective as it appears to be. But even if there is such a thing a totally subjective choices, the evolution will align on what is preferred by the persons. Artificial intelligence does not follow such a pattern. Even if all options are available to be scraped off the source data, the resulting quasi average will not be the preference of anyone. It will be averaged downward by the bad results. The average will not change unless some other source of choices changes. That means, it is not good to replace human choices with artificial intelligence. Improvements would be undefined and impossible without human-sourced choices. Artificial intelligence would tend to follow the changes that humans make with their choices—that is, if such ideal conditions existed. But one of the most significant facts about so-called artificial intelligence is that there is so little available for data sets to be scraped that the results of artificial intelligence cannot be anything more than an anachronistic and inappropriate imposition. But it must be emphasized that none of this is relevant to automation technology, which is not actually related to intelligence but an engineering assistance tool, because automation is being used by fakes to sell the value of so-called artificial intelligence. Of course, humans can defy constructivity and resulting evolution, which is what the increasing fascism does. But destructivity is a different subject. It does not evolve; it gets imposed, even if effectiveness increases. Truth and knowledge continuously evolve, even when overwhelmed by destructivity. Propagandists are using the term "generative" as a selling point for the recent form of so-called artificial intelligence. Being generative is a worthless purpose. All it means is adding word salad to the witches brew.
