The Slogan Ethic January 3, 2021 The slogan ethic is why conservatives will not allow aid to go to cities. It's a punishment-reward process. You get more of what you reward and less of what you punish in the slogan ethic. Conservatives are trying to cut out the losers. If you don't punish losers, you get more losers, in the slogan ethic. What makes cities losers and corporations winners? Corporations and the rich are lavished with trillions of tax dollars, while cities get nothing, because giving them something would be a "bailout"? Why isn't the money going to corporations and the rich a bailout? Because they are supposed to be build up. They are winners. You get what you reward. That's why conservatives are forever taking from the needy—to punish losers. Otherwise, you would get more losers. It's a good idea to be a loser instead of a winner in that world—the world of slogan ethics. The losers operate by rationality, while the winners operate by criminality trying to produce more criminality. What makes cities losers? They provide social services. Social services are anathema to conservatives, because they reward losers. Never mind the firemen and police hired by cities; they need to go down with the losers, since they are linked to the same process. That's the logic of sloganeering. Sloganeering is the alternative to rationality which conservatives are incapable of producing. Rationality says you get fewer problems if you assist persons in need. What are fewer problems? It takes rationality to determine what problems and solutions are.
