When technology was simple, the U.S. was way ahead of other countries due to scale and diversity, which allowed specialists to handle every minute detail. As technology became more complex, the demands of rationality increased. But by then, incompetent corrupters had taken over social structures and couldn't manage the abstractions of rationality.

When corrupters acquire problems, they revert to more corruption as the solution in their assumption that it was corruption that got them where they are. That's what Reaganites meant by "new normal." They were certain that getting rid of the complexities of abstract realities was the answer to everything.

Reagan broke laws to get to his success and assumed laws were for fools and therefore government was the problem. He talked Iran into delaying the hostage release until after the election, so Carter would look like a loser—the type of crime Trump got impeached for. Then he defied Congress when it passed a law saying he was supposed to stop attacking Nicaragua.

The underlying assumption of corrupters is that solutions emerge from nowhere, when the complexities are gotten out of the way by opposing rationality. Since they can't understand the abstractions of rationality, they assume no one else can either and only fools attempt to produce rationality by discussing abstract realities.

The attitude of opposing rationality doesn't work with complex technology; it creates waste, fraud and abuse. The failures were a large part of the reason why manufacturers had to move out. They said they couldn't get competent employees, while conservatives were trying to keep out immigrants to protect American jobs.

A lot of technology can't be offshored including energy systems and transportation. So fake technology took over energy systems and transportation through so-called renewable energy and electric vehicles. The mindlessness is highly visible, as no progress has been made in several years. Yet the incompetents claim the pay-offs will occur in the future. Supposedly, the future will do what the present is not doing.

In failing to make corruption successful, corrupters revert to fraud as their method of maintaining power through corruption. Physicists set the standards for fraud a long ways back due to their inability to handle the abstract nature of laws of the universe. They faked every element of physics since Joule's fraudulent measurement of the definition of kinetic energy in 1845. Now, they fake space technology such as helicopters on Mars, when there is only 1% as much atmosphere in Mars as on Earth, which makes helicopters impossible.

Physicists have no ability to get to Mars due to an inability to navigate in space. They need "mid-course" corrections, while there are no references in space to determine orientation or distances. So they contrive space projects to glamorize their power.

In fact, they have no method of stabilizing or orienting space telescopes, yet they keep producing more instead of admitting defeat. Everything in space is constantly in motion, while all motion must be totally removed for long range photography. When the motion produced blurry images for the Hubble Telescope, the fakes pretended that the lens was ground wrong. Then they would have pulled photos out of a file from Earth-based telescopes. They claimed the James Webb Telescope produces better resolution for deep space by using longer wave (infrared) radiation, while long waves produce lower resolution than short waves. Again, they would have pulled photos out of a file for the James Webb Telescope to continue the glamorization of their incompetent criminality.
