The attitude of physicists is that the engineering standard is the right way to get things done. In fact it's the only way they can function, because they are too incompetent to get the abstract realities of physics right. The engineering standard is to use the simplest numbers that will get the desired result in a reproducible manner. The problem is, that method is not science. Incompetents can't understand why science needs to be science. Carbon dioxide is why. There is no such thing as a greenhouse gas; so physicists used fake math (radiative transfer equations) to prove that there is a greenhouse effect and supposedly quantitate the result. They started at the desired end-point of 1°C temperature increase for each doubling of CO2 in the atmosphere, while using fake math to get there. Another reason why is hydrogen fusion. There is no significant energy in hydrogen fusion. The energy is calculated using Einstein's equation, E=mc², which is in error. The velocity of light (c) should not be squared, because there is no such thing as velocity squared. The reason why Einstein squared velocity is because the false equation for kinetic energy (KE=½mv²) has velocity squared within it. Einstein paralleled the false equation. What it means is that there is almost no energy in fusion reactions and no reason to assume there should be. Yet fusion is supposedly the energy source of the future. Dozens of expensive projects failed to yield significant energy from fusion reactions, while fakes, with know-nothing journalists leading the charge, continuously claim the next experiment is going to be the answer. I show simple and unquestionable mathematical proof that velocity should not be squared in the kinetic energy equation. With velocity unsquared, kinetic energy is momentum, mv (KE=mv).
