Theocracy Of The 1%ers.

The purpose of the 1%ers is to set the social standards. They get involved in everything whether they know what they are doing or not. When science and technology are criticized, the response is that the persons who invest billions of dollars in those endeavors must surely know what they are doing and critics are in no position to question their wisdom.

What have the 1%ers spent their lives doing? Mongering power and making money. What have their critics spent their lives doing? Studying science and technology. The social standards are determined by putting the subjectivity of the power mongers above the objective reality of their critics.

Some of the 1%ers decided they were going to produce hydrogen fusion where physicists failed (in 70 years and half a trillion dollars). The 1%ers got as far as pouring concrete before they decided not to.

The latest aircraft carrier has only one elevator for moving jets to the surface, where it was supposed to have eight, because the designed-in magnetic lifts don't work. Anyone with half a brain would have done measurements before starting. There wasn't anyone with half a brain doing the deciding. Incompetents do not know how to evaluate, so they guess instead.

There is no such thing as a magnetic lift. Laws of physics do not allow such things, even with any amount of mechanical contraptions added. The engineers didn't know that, and anyone who did was shoved aside, probably long ago. That's an example of what has been happening everywhere. Anyone with half a brain has been shoved out of the decision making processes.

Persons who are out of contact with objective reality use fantasy as a substitute for reality. They align on power as the test of truth having no ability to evaluate relationships between realities. They become megalomaniacs in assuming that whatever emanates from their imagination must be the answer to everything, which includes renewable energy and electric vehicles.

Fake technology has been nothing but expensive failure for decades on end yet promoted by fantasizers who assume it will solve everyone's problems in the future, as they expect magical solutions to emerge from power mongering fantasies.

Evidence is a science-based concern. It means objective measurements are made. There is no such thing in fantasy reality.

"The aide said that guys like me were "in what we call the reality-based community," which he defined as people who "believe that solutions emerge from your judicious study of discernible reality." ... "That's not the way the world really works anymore," he continued. "We're an empire now, and when we act, we create our own reality. And while you're studying that reality—judiciously, as you will—we'll act again, creating other new realities, which you can study too, and that's how things will sort out. We're history's actors . . . and you, all of you, will be left to just study what we do."

The aide is saying, knowledge is for fools, knowledge isn't needed by the world's actors.

In other words, they are going to keep building aircraft carriers that don't work and try to extract nonexistent energy with no ability to evaluate the science.

Futurism As The Perfecting Mechanism

It is said that hydrogen fusion is in the future and always will be. Futurism is the basis of power mongering as religion.

Futurism includes the threat of carbon dioxide, a necessary nutrient in short supply which will supposedly destroy all life in the near future. And futurism includes renewable energy which will supposedly replace all other sources of energy, electric vehicles which will replace internal combustion engines, self-driving and artificial intelligence.

Why futurism? Because it can be totally disconnected from objective reality and measured evidence. With no basis in objective reality, destroyers of life can claim to be the sources of life.
