Because we know best. Corrupters spend their existence climbing to get to the top of the heap. In doing so, they cut themselves off from rationality. There is no other analysis than winners prevailing, in climbing to the top of the heap.

Dominating persons convince themselves that they are superior. Whether they are superior should be irrelevant to objective reality. Yet corrupters assume that superior persons must prevail in order to move society forward.

There is an attitude problem in the area of domination. It creates a need to prevail over rationality.

Winners succeeding means force prevailing. Force prevailing means less rationality and knowledge, not more.

As dominating corrupters screw everything up, they tell themselves that anyone else would do worse, and they hunker down to do more destroying. It's how rationalizing of corruption works.

The more of a threat there is to winners prevailing, the more important it is for winners to prevail. That means criticism produces the opposite of correcting. Criticism proves to corrupters that they most focus more intently in preventing critics from succeeding.

That's what corrupters mean when they say, we take this seriously, in response to the evidence of their wrong-doing. Taking it seriously means covering up the truth more thoroughly and making more of an effort to prevent criticism from happening again.

The determination stems from the assumption that losers must be prevented from spreading their errors and disrupting the critical activity of winners.

Winners operate by a variation of projection. The only thing they know is themselves, since they are cut off from objective reality by their corruptness. But they fantasize their own worth and try to project the truth about their corruptness onto opponents to convince themselves that someone else has more of that problem than themselves.

The tragedy is that that force emanates from the top of the power structures, where force and violence overwhelms rationality. That's how fascism took over the social structures and reduced constructivity and competence to fantasized decadence, such as trying to replace energy and transportation systems to nonfunctional waste, fraud and abuse.
