The state of the economy is nothing resembling the descriptions in the media. That's because the incompetent power mongers who took over the social structures and converted them into power structures reduce realities to propaganda.

Economic numbers have no meaning anymore, because methods of calculating have been manipulated over the past few decades to show any desired result.

The only statistic usually mentioned now days is reduced unemployment rate. Where are the new workers? Workers are getting laid off right and left. That's because the numbers no longer have any meaning. A lot of persons no longer look for work, which removes them from the calculations.

Then the numbers for created jobs no longer have any meaning. Created by what criteria? There is infinite complexity in such calculations. A few years ago, it was said that 250,000 jobs must be created every month for economic expansion. Then a few years later, 230,000 jobs increased in a month is said to be a heroic result.

But more important than that number is, what types of jobs. Technical jobs are being reduced, while part time jobs are increased. A lot of skilled persons must find reduced opportunities.

Circumstances indicate that there are fewer women working now days, because they can't get daycare for their kids. Before the pandemic, there were a huge number of housewives providing daycare. They stopped during the pandemic and didn't start back up again afterwards. Without daycare, women cannot go back to work.

Another problem that never gets mentioned is that a rule of the incompetent power mongers is that anyone who has not been working recently is not eligible for employment. Once out, forever out, which is why homelessness has been increasing.

After the pandemic, the good guys got jobs again, the bad guys didn't. That's because incompetent power mongers look for like-minded persons as the good guys and assume that persons who they don't like need to be shoved out of the economy.

The public isn't wrong about the economy not being good, while the media keeps trying to prove they are wrong. There are endless things wrong with the economy which are being swept under the rug. Long term, the power mongers moved resources upward and out of reach of more and more persons.

Short term, housing loans are out of reach for most workers at 5% interest compounded annually. Without new houses being constructed, a lot fewer workers are needed.

The purpose of interest rate hikes was to reduce the size of the economy as a fraudulent method of lowering inflation, as if inflation were the size of the economy. That's not how inflation is defined for the public. The price that they pay for items is the inflation that people have to deal with. Screwing things up increases prices.

The logic being applied to inflation is observably and logically incorrect to a point of fraud. The results show, over and over, that increased interest rates push up inflation. But the frauds claim the inflation precedes the fix rather than follows it. Then when they discontinue the fix, they say the problem disappeared first, while it disappeared afterwards.

Why the fraud on interest rates? The result is always the purpose. The result of increased interest rates is creating economic problems for the lower classes. It points to the forever project of conservatives fighting a war against the lower classes, particularly since the project of increasing interest rates is only undertaken when Democrats are in power, not when conservatives are in power.

What observations and logic show is that when everything works fine—and economies always expand when everything works fine—prices hold flat or even go down. To raise prices under good conditions only invites competitors to get involved and undercut previous businesses. So why raise prices when all is going well? It never happens.

But when there are problems, businesses need to raise their prices to cope. And then when interest rates are increased, businesses need to raise prices in an extreme way to hedge against the uncertainties. The uncertainties are drastic while interest rates are being raised, which can include labor unions going on strike; so businesses need to hedge a lot by increasing prices in response to interest rates being increased.

Then the need for businesses to cope by increasing prices is called price gouging. Isn't it strange that businesses only do price gouging while interest rates are being increased? It's true that the net result is often unusually high profits, but unpredictably so, as some businesses fail to cope and go under. That means it is the unpredictability that follows interest rate increases that causes the problems.

Even though the inflation rate is dropping back down, as interest rates stopped being pushed up, the price level still hangs about 30% or more higher than it was for most consumer items. Lower inflation rate doesn't mean lower prices; it means less increase in prices.

So the frauds say consumer spending is increasing. But the increase is due to the increased cost for the same items, not more items being purchased. Those items are not arbitraries that can be increased or decreased. So it is the increased price that caused the increased spending, not more items being purchased.

Closely related (in the minds of the incompetent power mongers) is the increase in immigrants assumed to be creating expenses for society. The flood of immigrants is an insurmountable problem. But the cause is not the Democrats inviting them in, as conservatives claim. The cause is conservatives creating wars, starvation and disease around the world in their attempts to reduce human existence to the privileged few.

It is the push of immigrants out of their countries that caused the increase, not an invitation by Democrats. In making life impossible in their own countries, immigrants have nothing to lose in risking their lives to get someplace else; and it is not just the U.S. where they are going. Walls and frauds cannot stop the immigration under those circumstances.
