Bigotry replaces reality. Bigotry doesn't create an alternative reality; it makes reality irrelevant. That's why proving science is irrelevant. The realities don't matter due to bigotry.

Bigotry is the subconscious assumption that power is virtue and powerlessness is corruption. Therefore, bigots assume that whatever power mongers say is relevant and what non-power mongers say is irrelevant. Anyone who criticizes power mongers becomes irrelevant; and therefore there is no relevant criticism of the frauds of power mongers.

That means power mongering increases independent of and immune to criticism. How could the fascists fail? They didn't. They took over the social structures shoving out rational persons for criticizing.

No one could fail to see the fraud of "carbon free" anything. Carbon is put into the air walking to the light switch. So occasionally, someone in the (peripheral) media will point out how carbon is produced in constructing so-called carbon free machinery. But no attention is paid, while the amount of fraud increases day by day.

Frauds get a free ticket to lie because of bigotry. The primary basis for promoting self-driving is that it will (someday) reduce accidents. Why should it? Implicitly because machines don't make the mistakes that humans do. Why not? Just because machines are that way. Why isn't the absence of awareness and judgement relevant to the safety of driving? Simply because bigotry erases the realities of the subject.

The ones who do the lying are the power mongers. Lying is a power mongering tool, not a rationality tool. That means lying takes precedence over rationality where bigotry rules. Trump is depending upon bigotry putting him back in power by out-lying everyone else.
