Each corrupter acts as if he were the center of the universe. What universe? Corrupters don't see a universe out there defining life. What then should a person align upon besides his own selfish interests?

Not being aware of the objective realities of the universe defining life and solutions to problems, corrupters orient their existence around motives instead of realities.

Corrupters assume they are the rightful inheritors of existence. They are extremely arrogant in assuming some sort of law of existence demands them to be masters of our lives.

Unlike criminals who know why laws exist opposing crime, corrupters do not assume any opposing force to their corruptness is justified.

One reason for the stupidity of corrupters is that the abstractness of their standards results in rationalizations. Corrupters rationalize by filling in missing realities with contrived realities oriented around their motives. The motives shape their realities.

Motives are the defining characteristics of corrupters. The motives of corrupters are extremely rudimentary and mechanistic. That's why normal persons can tell the difference between corrupt and noncorrupt. And it is why corruption is dependent upon a degree of stupidity.

Corruption begins with incompetents being losers where rationality is demanded. To make themselves winners without rationality, corrupters turn to domination to prevail against opponents. Domination is the quick fix for incompetence. A quick fix seems like a law of existence to incompetent losers.

The consequence is that relying upon rationality in opposition to being dominated looks like corruption to corrupters. If domination is everything, rationality is for fools.

Reagan said, if you need to explain, you are already a loser. He assumed being a winner is the purpose of life and rationality is for fools. Rationality requires explanation of claims. Winning is dominating to prevail.

So the Reaganites set about redesigning existence around domination prevailing over rationality. They called it "a new normal." Normal is determined by the objective realities of the universe which define life and solutions to problems. But such normalcy is too abstract and removed from the immediate for corrupters. So they assume the more direct method of getting where they want to be through domination must be the real normalcy.

The consequence is arrogant defiance as supposed normalcy. When Congress produced a law, the Boland Amendment, requiring Reagan to cease and desist in murdering rice farmers in Nicaragua to stop nonexistent communism, Reagan thumbed his nose at the law. The law of corruption isn't going to lay down and be run over by misled dupes aligned upon nonsense they call rationality.

Reagan said, government is the problem. He meant the laws of government, not the totalitarianism of a corrupt dictator. So the Reaganites promoted a process of throwing out critical laws through so-called deregulation. They said they were going to get rid of eighty years of liberalism gone awry.

Eighty years before 1981 laws were being produced to protect banking from "the robber barons." With the banking laws being thrown out, corporations drained the economy dry channeling resources upward and unavailable to the normal economy.

Conservatives continually dump tax dollars onto corporations for that purpose. Having corporations burn tax dollars on stock buy-backs, which were made illegal by previous banking laws, have the purpose of preventing government resources from being used for social programs.

The arrogance is beyond belief to normal persons but a law of existence replacing the foolishness of rationality to corrupters.
