Corrupters try to design an alternative path to getting results. Alternative to What? To rationality. Rationality exposes incompetent corrupters as the incompetent corrupters that they are.

But corrupters don't believe a word of it. They assume they are superior persons; and therefore it is the opposition that is in error. Not knowing what rationality is, the evidence that they see of rationality must be the ruination of man. So surely, there is a different path to success.

The way the alternative mechanism works is trial-and-error replacing evaluation and prediction. It takes rationality to produce evaluation and prediction. Trial-and-error is viewed as crossing the bridges after getting to them, using corrupters' own terminology.

So corrupters view normal demands and standards as unworkable—that the requirements are obstacles to getting things done. There are normally rules and procedures for getting complex things done; and corrupters can't stand such requirements. They don't know how to evaluate or apply the rules; so they don't want demands being placed upon them.

Now days, the key word is innovation. Innovation means "fake it until you make it," in Silicon Valley terminology. To apply rules and procedures to innovations is to block progress, in the view of corrupters.

If the results are not too hazardous, it gets corrupters where they want to be. View it this way: If they design a thousand new computer-based, technology processes, and one hundred of them are successful, while the other nine hundred are failures, they have accomplished something. Ten percent successes are as good as corrupters get. With evaluation and prediction, they would get nowhere and have nothing.

But what happens when the price is high for the failures? Still the same procedure. Corrupters have no other methodology. That's what they are doing with self-driving. They are testing it on the highways instead of laboratories and test tracks. If they kill someone, they try to do a fix and call it an improvement.

Self-driving is never going to be anything but a death trap, because computers don't have awareness. Corrupters don't assume such a concept is relevant. They assume they can teach computers, and have computers teach themselves, to solve any problems.

That's where the stupidity of corrupters comes in. Corrupters don't know the limitations of complex technology. They assume infinite improvement is always possible with enough time and effort. They are dead wrong. There are obvious limitations that can never be exceeded. And those limitations are the reason why self-driving will always be a death trap.

But corrupters have to see it to believe it. They don't assume they are at the end of their rope with their destructive technology. They have gotten nowhere of relevance with renewable energy and electric vehicles for ten years or more; but they keep trying assuming someone will solve the problems. The limitations are clear—the problems are not solvable, because the whole concepts were not realistic. No one is going to produce the magical battery or figure out how to extract the extremely thin energy from the atmosphere in a practical manner.
