Incorrect options are avoided by persons who know what they are doing. Then loser-wannabes move into those avoided options to make themselves somebodies. It's easy to do with no competition and undeveloped, virgin forest to be exploited.

Then the incompetents pretend that the reason why they are doing what no one else is doing is because they are superior persons who know something others do not know. So disastrous fixes are supposedly the answer to everything.

Isn't that what Theranos was—using a single drop of blood to make a large number of tests? Someone who only had a few months of college was supposedly doing what scientists and engineers could not do.

Replacing energy systems with so-called renewable energy and using it to replace transportation systems with electric vehicles and self-driving couldn't possibly be anything other than that. If those Earth shaking transformations were really the answer to anything, real scientists and engineers would have produced the results a long time ago.

The fakes haven't accomplished a thing after thirty years of activity. The breakthroughs are always going to be in the near future. The near future never arrives for the fakery. It's like the apple in front of the horse.

Lying becomes unlimited because of the emptiness of incorrect options as absence of developed realities surrounding the subjects. "On par with coal" means an increase in the cost of electricity by a factor of 5 with 3-5% renewables as solar and wind power, even when exploiting previous transmission lines, while building the lines that are needed for expanding the fake renewables is unaffordable. And it means blackouts, whenever the demands increase. There were no blackouts with previous sources of electricity.
