Paying Taxes

March 8, 2021

One of the reasons stated for voting for conservatives in spite of totalitarian fascists trying to overthrow the government is because the persons don't like to pay taxes, as if liberals were increasing their taxes.

During the Trump years, $2.5 trillion tax dollars were dumped onto corporations, first to supposedly stimulate the economy, which it didn't do, and then to assist corporations during the pandemic. That's $2.5 trillion in tax dollars that comes out of the pockets of persons who vote for conservatives.

It's not something liberals did—they opposed it every step of the way. It was one of the few outlets of expression for the conservative philosophy of mongering power by taking from the needy and lavishing money onto the rich.

There was nothing corporations could do with that money. They had all the employees they needed and they didn't sell products cheaper. So they used the money for stock buy-backs. Stock buy-backs used to be illegal until the banking laws were thrown out during the 1990s, because stock buy-backs pad the income of administrators at everyone else's expense. That's a conservative tactic, not anything liberals do.

Stock buy-backs channel tax dollars into the stock market through corporations and they pump up the value of stocks. The stock market spreads the lucre through the elites who use the stock market as a redistribution system. It's a satanic ritual portrayed as the essence of the economy by power mongers in journalism and politics.

When America was great, during the 1950s and 60s (by Trump's criteria, as he watched "Industry On Parade"), the lower half of society paid no federal income tax. The next 40% paid very little. Corporations paid 60% of federal income. Liberals made those decisions. Conservatives were still a joke and not calling themselves conservatives in government.

Now, corporations pay no significant federal income taxes. Ten years ago, they were said to be paying 5% of federal income tax revenue, but even that amount disappeared during Trump years. That's the conservative scheme, not anything liberals did.

Conservatives are pretending that welfare is where the taxes are going, which is a liberal scheme, claiming liberals are constantly trying to increase taxes to pay for it. That mentality is about the equivalent of QAnon feeding the psychopathology of racist bigots.

There is no welfare system in the U.S. Aid to Dependent Children was ended in the 1990s. It was $80 billion per year at that time. That's 3.2% as much as the $2.5 Trillion dumped onto corporations for no logical reason.

There is still food stamps, which amount to even less. Meeting real needs reduces social problems which are expensive for everyone. When tax dollars are used wisely, they reduce taxes; when squandered, they increase taxes.

So conservatives vote for the squandering of tax dollars as if it were lowering taxes. That's because corrupters speak in opposites to deflect truth away from their corruptions. The real motive of conservatives is a war against the lower classes; and they squander tax dollars trying to prevent the money from being used for social programs which would benefit the needy.
